Rochester, New York

West Main Street Phase III

West Main Street Phase III advances the transformation of a key downtown Rochester corridor, located in one of the city’s most historic districts and framed by iconic buildings, with a focus on safety, walkability, and long-term durability. Building on prior investments the project will strengthen pedestrian connectivity, support local businesses, and enhance the public realm through comprehensive streetscape improvements.

CTLA is leading the streetscape design from concept through construction administration. The design will refresh sidewalks, street trees, and pedestrian-scaled amenities to improve safety, accessibility, and stormwater performance. Coordinated materials and planting strategies will extend a cohesive corridor identity while respecting the project area’s historic character and creating a resilient, welcoming streetscape that supports continued neighborhood revitalization.
